a more personal side of KayeI have always been drawn to learning, challenge, and helping people and groups to uncover their own solutions and potential. I began my career as a nurse in the early 1970’s and soon realised it was the people component that fascinated and inspired me. I expanded my career to include education, management and leadership. I ‘acquired’ two very distinct reputations. One as a ‘doer’ and the other as an innovative and inspirational leader. The journey was fertile ground for growth and I thrived where I was involved in helping groups to work together towards common ground and solutions. I drew from a range of skill sets to do this: interpersonal and communication skills, facilitation, management and leadership psychology, coaching and best of all – the 'school of hard knocks'. One of my bigger lessons through all of this was that indivuduals have a desire to do their best, are doing it, and have all of the answers within them. At times it can help to have someone to add a different perspective or shine a light on those answers – this led me to establishing coaching4success to offer innovative coaching and facilitation solutions for individuals and organisations. I know, and I have been told I am an excellent coach! Pink now seems to be more dominant. This will be no surprise to you! This came about as a ‘tribute’ to a group of fantastic women called the chicks in pink. They are a charity who support women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Please, take the time to have a look at what they do at www.chicksinpink.com They have some great pink apparel for sale. |
