Our Lead Coach is Kaye Blackburn

Kaye Blackburn has a passion for working with people who want to develop themselves and achieve greater success, both in the workplace and personally. Her coaching approach is to draw on client's strengths to develop their potential and to be successful.  As a corporate and leadership coach, Kaye has partnered with professionals, senior, middle and emerging leaders and managers within public and private sector organisations including: Mater Health Services Brisbane Ltd; Queensland Health; Brisbane City Council; Enhance Management; St Vincent’s & Holyspirit Health Services; Workcover NSW; and Bentley Systems.

Kaye has studied nursing, education and management. This powerful mix gives her a unique approach to coaching. Her coaching style has been described as direct, supportive, challenging, informative, and developmental. Clients value her ability to quickly 'get to the heart of the matter' ensuring individual and team sessions are focused and purposeful interactions creating movement, accountability and action. Kaye utilises a coaching methodology in line with the definition, ethical code of conduct and core competencies of coaching described by the International Coach Federation (ICF).  Kaye's coaching specialties include: making difficult conversations easy; leadership and management skill development; learning and development; leveraging high potential employees; being more successful; emotional intelligence; and eLearning.

Until recently Kaye was the Director of Learning & Development for a large Brisbane Hospital group. Kaye has an impressive background in the corporate world with over 20 years experience in management and leadership in a variety of clinical, management, leadership and academic roles. Her background in university and corporate training and development, group facilitation and individual and team coaching provides a strong platform for developing individual and group performance. As a leader, Kaye is best known for leading a significant change to online learning within the health sector.

Kaye is an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) and is a licensed facilitator for Corporate Coach U's Coaching Clinic® and Essential Conversations for Developing Others® offering strategic corporate coaching skills for leaders and managers.

Kaye is an active member of the International Coach Federation and is the current President of the Queensland Chapter. Kaye’s awards include: Master of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma Education, Graduate Certificate in eLearning, Bachelor Applied Science (Nursing) and Certificate 1V in Training and Assessment.
